The sun sets on another day…
Sunsets and snowflakes are as unique as, well as they are. If you think about it though there are so many other things that are unique.
Our fingerprints are unique as well as our retinas. The grain in wood is unique and no two trees are exactly the same. The waves coming across the ocean or the lake are unique and even though they may be similar the patterns will always be different. Our voices and the sounds of animals are unique and you can pick someone out just by their voice. (I guess if you were a bird you might be able to pick out another bird). Come to think of it maybe unique is unique. Maybe just maybe there are more things that are unique then there are things that are the same.
I am often in awe of all the wonderful things in the world. I am thankful for those things in my life that have been unique. Mostly I am thankful for people because people are the most unique things of all. There is no way that anyone could have predicted all of the wonderful people in their lives and there is also no way anyone could have predicted those people that, through perhaps not so wonderful, made us learn great lessons. Be thankful for them both.
So as the sun sets on another day, remember there is only one you. As the sun sets on another day remember there is only one of each of the people who are important to you. As the sun sets on another day remember it is up to you to help everyone understand how unique they are to you and to the world. Work hard to do so and be happy all you can, no matter what.
