Shell game…

The sun sets on another day…

Sunset was hidden by a storm that made trees go sideways. I watched as a pretty big tree bent almost to the ground, I think I actually said “wow”.

The turtle in the picture made me laugh. The patterns on his back look like an Aztec set of runes that are predicting some for of positive, or maybe more doom and gloom. No matter how you slice it they were unique and a lot of fun. I took a few pictures of him and tapped his bottom until he walked off the road. I did not want to see squishy turtle and thought he deserves a long life with those runes on him. After all, what happens if you squish magic runes on a turtle? (lol)

Sometimes we all look so much at people shells we don’t stop to think about whats inside. People are complex, and people sometimes see things massively differently, (adverb heaven) and sometimes it all boils down to the same thing. My point is you just don’t know what is beyond someones shell until you start talking to them and see past the surface, and into the squishy parts. Those squishy parts can often be a true window to who someone is, and will allow you to communicate more effectively. Think about it at least.

So as the sun sets on another day, save a turtle. Hmm, no, well yes, but not what I was going to say. So as the sun sets on another day, find a way to see past the shell. Look at people for what they are, not what you see them as, and along the way, have patience and communicate well all you can. It works, listen, learn, love, and be a person you can be proud of, no matter what.

Sleep sweet, love deeply, and yes, save a turtle…
