The sun sets on another day…
Here I am at another day but now hiding in the foothills of Alabama. The hills hid sunset but they did not hide the wonderful colors attached to it. No matter where you are the sunset is full and bright.
I’m always excited when I’m in Alabama to see my kids. Today is no different as we sit and enjoy each and every moment that we have. I was excited and amazed at all of the fun that can be had in the limited time I was not working and I was proud of the achievements that my children have achieved.
It is said that there is no fate but what we make and I believe it. I believe it not because it’s something that has been said but because looking at how people achieve can be directly attributed two there tenacious abilities for both fun and excitement. After all someone who is good at their job needs to like their job. Someone who does well , does well because of the enjoyment they get of life. There can be no better fate then the one that is made buy a driven and happy person.
So as the sunsets on another day I am proud of my kids not because they have achieved greatness but because each has achieved happiness in their own way and found their own peace. I only hope that I gave them a little of the passion necessary to find that peace. if you’re out there find your own passion and with it give yourself a door to a better world, no matter what.
