The sun sets on another day…
I watched the sunset through the trees. It is far more subtle then, but still is beautiful. In the end we enjoy it just the same. Find beauty always.
In the movie Groundhog Day, we find a man who lives his day over and over and over and over and over. Each time he may learn something or nothing. Each time there is a trial or tribulation and it starts over again and again. Although other books and movies had a similar idea this one truly set a stage that no one else had ever done.
Now imagine us in all of our days and are we so different? So many of us are locked into the same thing over and over and over again and as we do that we often find ourselves in difficult positions because all we know is what we have done and as we learn sometimes the lessons are not as visible.
It’s okay.
We will all survive and get by and in the process not have to buy a lot of insurance from Ned Ryerson. Instead we need to look at what we’re learning each day and apply it and instead of blindly following whoever we blindly follow if we blindly follow let’s open our eyes and in the end there will be an end to a very long day.
So as the sun sets on another day, sure it’s only 24 hours. It can be a short 24 hours or it can feel like forever. Take the time to pay attention and make each and every day count. Make every minute count. Even the seconds are worthwhile. Hold on and the day will be done soon, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and hold on…
