The sun sets on another day…
I expected wind and storm but got a pretty sunset at an event at the baseball field. I found myself giggling and laughing after spending time with my daughter and enjoying the moments around me.
There’s a lot to the game in the world, the question is, which game. I find myself offering asking which game is being played and often there are quite a few going on.
There is a game of chess, a significant number of possibilities and games that can last a long time out of pure spite. Masters play and as we look down upon this game we wonder which piece are we and how we will deal with what is coming.
There is a game of checkers, an easy game that most people play. The only question is who is going to jump who first and how will they move forward to become king and be promoted to playing chess.
There is a game of Shoots and Ladders, each player has an objective but there are so many different levels that will pull you away and either take you forward or drop you back without regard. The people that win this game move on to playing checkers.
Mostly there is the game of Go. As a game it seems so simple but as a strategy it is beyond comprehension. People spend lifetimes trying to learn the game and even then only the true masters realize they are not masters.
It’s funny how many things go on and as you think about it you have to wonder what I’m actually writing about. We all have 29,000 sunsets and maybe a little more, which game do you want to play?
So as the sun sets on another day, I play so many other games that I think are fun. The most fun is when the players know the game they’re playing and they can enjoy the moves that they’re making. I hope you win in every game you try, and I hope you realize that the world is a better place because of you always. Keep winning and making your game magnificent, no matter what.
