The sun sets on another day…
Clouds covered the sky, but at the edges a little bit of light leaked out. Even as the storm wandered through the west the sunset on the way to make the day a little better.
I found myself wandering through a significant amount of nostalgia tonight. Poetry and pictures from long ago made me think about all the wonderful things I’ve done in my life. The picture from today I titled isolation and when I was playing with Bryce and Poser, so many years ago, I made a bunch of things that were pretty cool.
As I wandered through pictures I found myself thinking about Elle Macpherson, I laughed about a Cher impersonator, and for the most part enjoyed a trip down memory lane thinking about all of the fun that I have had. I found a picture I took that always made me think about secrets, and that too made me smile.
I wrote a series of articles once about business and how different types of managers can be obstacles for information technology, and I found the picture that was posted with that where I looked like a complete doofus. I found a video with me on television and laughed.
I found a picture of me working at a Salvation Army event dressed in a tux, and being quote over the top.
I found thousands of pictures I took and looked through a few and thought of the work I had done with talented people.
In the end, a fun night. Never forget who you are. Never set it aside. Find a path that works and opens your mind to possibilities. Be the best you can be and hold on to you always.
So as the sun sets on another day, be who you are and enjoy who you are. Don’t be isolated. Grab onto life and enjoy it! Make every day as spectacular as you can. Find a path that works for you and take it forward, and be happy in all you have become, no matter what.
