The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was still amazing though clouds rolled in and out the skies were lit by impressive fire.
Change.
I write often about how life is like piloting a sailboat. There are numerous obstacles and of course the unpredictable wind. The level of unpredictability means you have to adapt to what is there, and find your way through constantly correcting and keeping your eye where you want to be, otherwise you may end up in Antarctica.
It is often true with life. You have to keep your eye on where you are going and eventually you will get there, but it may take a lot of work, and a lot of creative steering. Still, you can get there if you focus and deal with the change. A lot of people just let things happen and as they do they find themselves further from their goals and further from where they want to be. I remember years ago making a decision on the top of a hill, and having to change that decision simply because it was not just my decision.
Funny how life happens isn’t it? Change. Accept the winds you are given, and if they shift, stay the course you decide.
So as the sun sets on another day, life is a series of changes. Don’t wait for them to happen or let them happen but instead be a part of it all. Make the best decisions possible and steer your course for today. Remember yesterday is gone and tomorrow will always be tomorrow, so focus on today and make it the best day ever, no matter what.,
