The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was seriously awesome. It wasn’t comically awesome but instead it was seriously awesome.
I’m sure some of you are looking at my word choice and thinking that I’ve gone stark raving mad or that I don’t understand what the word recombinant means. It’s funny that usually when I pick my topic it pops into my head and I have all the ideas that go along with it. In reality when I started looking at this I realized that perhaps I did miss the point a little but then my brain shifted into high gear and that’s where I’m sitting right now.
We are pure organisms that are created by experience and DNA. We could quickly and efficiently debate the positives and negatives of nature and nurture but there is no clear answer or else the debate would have been solved some time ago. I know people that believe nature is the only way to consider are personality growth and many people think nurture creates everything. It’s my opinion that it’s somewhere in between and it is the exchange of experience and idea that creates the personality we have. If you think about it it’s kind of funny. In DNA recombination is a process where there are crossovers from both parents that in the process create a new organism. I’m putting it out here that we are a series of moments that in the process of recombination with others is created as much by interaction as anything else. It is this process of sharing moments that makes us who we are.
Now I’m sure that there are a significant number of exceptions to this rule where people don’t interact at all. Even in those exceptions we find there is still the recombination of moments from early interaction so it still exists. I could even postulate that recombination of moments happens with the world around us and every interaction with life that we have. It’s a cool idea and if you don’t agree with me that’s OK but at least it’s something to think about.
I put it to you today that the more you interact the more you will grow and the more you will eventually be, well, more. it’s a unique idea but as you consider it think about how exciting it would be to remember every moment that made you who you are today.
So as the sun sets on another day, I think this is one of the mores strange posts I have written simply because I am fascinated by the complex amino acid chains that make us who we are and the massive chemical reactions that take place every moment in our life. And that’s not all, if you act today you may well realize that we are pretty darn amazing, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and enjoy the moments…
