Networking in the sun…

The sun sets on another day…

..and we consider how we interact as people.

People? Yes people.

There are lots of things we can call each other, and far too often we do. Some of these things are not so nice, and some are amazing. We have to ask ourselves daily why we would ever talk to someone as less than we are, and why we would accept being less important than we really are to the world. Remember, every day we have an opportunity to make a difference, not just to ourselves, but to the world as a whole. Any moment we might have the opportunity to save a person, or make a person smile, laugh, or see the world in a better way. This is far better than seeing the world as a hindrance, sometimes sad, or as a series of mundane days.

So as the sun sets on another day, and as we meet new people, laugh with them, teach them our point of view and as we learn theirs, let’s also take a moment and make life better for everyone, and in that, feel life flow through us as it should.

Sleep sweet, love life, and make every day so special that you know it will be remembered, no matter what…

Spirit of passion…

The sun sets on another day…

I will apologize upfront if this seems depressing.

Sometimes you just have to feel the spirit and understand that things are or are not meant to be.

I knew a man once that tried to change the world. Everyday he was positive upbeat and made sure that everyone knew that they should be a happy person. Only a few months ago he passed away. His legacy, his family, lives on each day. I am blessed each day to have known him and to have been a part of his life. So as the Sun sets on another day be thankful for those people that you’re with that guide you into a positive avenues and help you see the world in a better way and to all those who knew Jim smile a little and be happy.

Seriously passionate!

The sun sets on another day…

As our sunsets continue to move forward it is important we continue to see the positives in our lives. With each negative is a beautiful positive if we look for it. The terrible thing that may be happening now, may be a doorway into the future, or may not be as bad as we originally thought. There are of course some exceptions, there are people I have lost that I will mourn to the end of time, but I set that aside in favor of what I have learned or what I feel from the experience. I will not feel bad ever for stopping and helping someone stuck in the ditch and ripping my arm apart, because it was a good move to do so and an attempt to help someone.

The point of today is we should be seriously passionate about life, seriously passionate about helping people, seriously passionate about everything. Why go through a single day with the mundane existence that many people commit themselves to daily. If you are shoveling poop in a horse farm, whistle while you work. If you are doing laundry 24×7, enjoy the moments in between and dream of better tides (Soap joke).

So, let’s make this relevant and more fun. Step out and live, hug the person next to you, get slapped, laugh about it, wave at the person when you are driving home, get honked at, laugh, enjoy life, enjoy EVERY moment and live life to its fullest.

I am wishing on the same sunset as you are, even if you can’t see it, so smile with me to the moon and back….and the stars beyond….

The sun sets on another day…

We meet lots of people in the world, some are tall, some are short, some light, some dark, some full of passion and life, and some not so much. It is always wonderful when you meet someone who is full of passion, life, and mystery, and those people are the ones we should all gravitate towards and treat like the special people they are every day. So when you meet someone like that, do not turn away, instead put out your hand, hold on, and enjoy life every day.

Love life, live for each moment, and hold onto passion each and every day…

Amazing days…

the sun sets on another day…

Today is an amazing day because you are in it! When you look at the day, every day, from that perspective you will do well because each day is a potential adventure, a time to live, a time to love, and a time to learn. There is so much out there that can make a difference if you just take a moment and look for it. The special person place you are going to right now may not seem special, but it is wondrous within itself.

One of my favorite movies is the Seven Faces of Dr. Lao and one of my favorite quotes is:

Mike, the whole world is a circus if you look at it the right way. Every time you pick up a handful of dust, and see not the dust, but a mystery, a marvel, there in your hand, every time you stop and think, “I’m alive, and being alive is fantastic!” Every time such a thing happens, Mike, you are part of the Circus of Dr. Lao.

Imagine for just a moment if we could live in that wonderful circus every day. So look deeply into that handful of dirt, and make it a marvel, and while you are at it, live life, love all you can and make every day an amazing one…

10:47? A glimpse of one potential future…

The sun sets on another day…

the future is bright and hopeful like a pleasant sunset. Time grasps us with colors that change each of our days into wonderful images of a future. Before you now is a glimpse of a series of futures. The future of a writer, or a writer who just had fun. No matter what a passion which is undying. Perhaps we all should go forward and live our dreams. I know I have one piece of mine.

Live life, love every moment, and if you feel down ever, just look at the sunset and imagine a future that only you can make, then make it happen…

The roots of the tree…

The sun sets on another day…

Today’s picture was not a sunset, but it was fun taking it and enjoying the walk at this location. Unfortunately the sunset was eaten by clouds at the last minutes, but I have received several in email today for those days in the future.

Having just seen “the Revenant” the consistent message was to loom at the trunk of the tree in the storm, and though it sways, the core is what lets you know it’s power. I agree, but feel that the roots take it even further. As you look at the tree, deep roots will allow survival while shallow roots will mean potential disaster.

So as the sun sets on another day think not only about making each day the best day of your life, but also about making your core the strongest it can be, so as we enjoy tomorrow as well. Remember who you are at your core, and have the honor, integrity and passion to lead others. trust that others will do the same, and when they don’t help them find the way (Or maybe find the door, oops, did I say that)

Smile, love life, live for each day, and wish upon a star as a promise that life will be good as long as you make it good!

Cold as ice…

The sun sets on another cold day…

Sometimes it is amazing how some people can be so cold, walking away from the warmth of life and embracing the cold pricklys in our world? Don’t know the cold pricklys? It is from a story my grandmother used to tell me called the “Warm Fuzzy Story”. I need to rewrite it as the person who wrote the book “Fuzzy’s” did not follow the story I was told, so I suppose I will do that in the near future.

The gist of the story is there are two types of people, those who share their love daily and are there for everyone, and those who are cold and prickly, and just survive.

As the sun sets on another day, embrace warmth and love, and stay warm and fuzzy. After all, life is meant to be more than just a word…

Live life, love more, and make every day the best day you can have, until tomorrow….

There should always be hope…

Once upon a time…errr, ooops

The sun sets on another day… (that’s it)

You know there are over 41 articles with the word “hope” in it that I have penned since the reset of 29000 sunsets. That seems like a lot. Hope is a strange beast, in fact I had three separate items dedicated to hope, hope 1hope 2 and hope 3. Once upon a time a woman told me that no one had ever fought for her and she could never hope for that. When I did, she did not fight for me (Probably making me hopeless, lol).  How many times does hope align like that for people in the world? One side hopes, and the other side blunders or does not believe in hope.

So, now I want to replace the word hope with action (we can rewrite the song to “A little less hope and a lot more action”) when appropriate. After all, sometimes you have to change your path and find another way,and not necessarily focus on an action that is unwanted, unmerited or unreturned. Instead we should act to make our lives better, other peoples lives better and to live our life to its fullest and maybe then people will will act with us in a common direction.

As for those who lose hope, or choose a path that is not to fight, well, I know how that ends too. So lets just avoid losing hope, period.

Live life, love life, find the good way, and make every minute count towards every sunset you have…
